UCLA Colors

UCLA’s colors have always been blue and gold, but the exact shades have varied. The colors approved by the Chancellor in March 2004 are a deep sky blue and a matching sun gold. Please note that color specifications were adjusted Wednesday, September 8, 2004 in response to user concerns.

The UCLA logo should appear in UCLA blue, black or white. Gold is intended as an accent color; do not use gold for the logo itself.

Many graphics programs (Adobe PhotoShop and Illustrator, Quark Xpress, PageMaker, InDesign, Fireworks, etc.) allow the user to specify colors in a variety of ways. Use these specs for UCLA Blue and UCLA Gold.

To assure accurate print reproduction, use a Pantone swatch. To request swatches, use the Request Form in Resources.
